***KINDA LONG POST*** Id like to give a shout out to the 2 ladies working at Horizon t'onight. I was waiting for a pick up order when a gentleman walked in, wanting to dine in. It was 7:37 pm and they close at 8. The hostess happily sat the patron and was VERY friendly and accommodating. When the waitress took his order he said "I will have the soup and salad bar!" She said "ok, give me a moment to pit some stuff back out. We usually start taking it down about 30-45 minutes because we close at 8." The gentleman apologized and stated he didn't know they close at 8 and that she didn't need to do that for him! She was sooooo, sooo sweet and said "honey, it's not a problem. If you want that soup and salad bar, you're getting the soup and salad bar!! IF I WOULD HAVE HAD CASH ON ME I WOULDA GAVE THEM BOTH A FAT TIP!!! Service like that is hard to come by! Way to go ladies! P.s. if you know who it was please make sure they see this! Their kindness did not go unnoticed!!!

I was born and raised in New Jersey, we are known for our Diners, more than any other State and loved for its quality. I can honestly tell you that Horizon is right up there with the best NJ has to offer! The food is fantastic and the wait staff are the best. I see some reviews complaining about time issues but if the Diner is crowded then of course there is going to be a wait. Get over yourself! My wife and I work third shift and we frequently stop and dine and have never had one disappointment. I love Horizon!! Huge portions, delicious food, and the friendliest staff.

We had a really good breakfast here today. Our server was great and although the restaurant is older, it just has a good vibe. It has a counter you can eat at, in addition to the many tables and booths. They give you very generous portions and everything coming out from the kitchen looked delicious.

Old town Cafe feel, but is much better than that. Diverse menu, breakfast served all day and baked pies and pastries available upon checking out!! Fair pricing!

Went for lunch on a very busy Sunday. Food was great and our server Alexis was awesome! Very professional, did not act overwhelmed and was very nice.

Amazing place to eat. Wish this was a nationwide chain. Owners were so friendly and the staff was awesome. Menu was a delight so many delicious dishes to choose from. I wish I lived closer. I will make sure to route trips by this place whenever traveling just to eat here. If you pass this place you have to stop and give it a try.

I ate dinner at 6 pm on a Monday night and I was seated right away. My server came over and gave me a menu and took my drink order. When she returned with my drink, I ordered the Hot Turkey sandwich along with mashed potatoes and gravy. My order came right out, and it was a nice portion of hand carved Turkey along with a double scoop of mashed potatoes. This Turkey tastes just like Thanksgiving, it was fantastic. It was tender and moist. The mashed potatoes and gravy were also very good. Everything about this place was good, I will definitely be back.

I have never had a bad meal at Horizon. While they have a full menu of other items, I always end up ordering breakfast. It is just that good. Pictured is the Hungry Man and Polar Bear Waffle. Absolutely delicious! Fast service in a mom and pop environment.
